Registration

Creating your account

• Visit DASH
• Click “New User”
• If you receive an error message indicating your email is already in our system, please call our office at (586) 731-0300 to have us send you a link to create a password and access your household online.
• Enter your email and create password.
• Add your contact information, address, city, zip, etc.
• Next click “Add child” and put your children in the system.
• Finally, if you would like to add your partner access to the system, please hit “Invite Partner” to send them an email to create an account.  They will need to create their own email and password to access online registration.
• Hit "Submit" at the bottom of the page when complete.

To help ensure fairness for all participants, we will be verifying registration details for online registrations, including addresses. By registering, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and complete. Providing incorrect or false information may result in removal from the program or event. We may also request additional documentation to confirm eligibility if needed.

To sign in to your account

• Visit DASH
• Enter the email address and password you used to create your account
• Select "Keep me signed in", if you would like your browser to remember this information (not recommended on shared devices)
• Click "Login"

If you have forgotten your password, you can click "Forgot your password?" and reset your password that way. This will only work once you have created an account in the DaySmart system.

To register

• Visit DASH
• Sign into your account
• Select "Register"
• In the "Who are you registering?" drop down box, select the family member you are registering. (Only available programs for that family member will be shown based on their age and gender)
• Browse available programs and register by clicking "Register"
• Answer any required registration questions
• Continue to check out or add additional registrations

To reserve a facility

• Visit DASH
• Sign into your account
• Select "Rentals"
• Select "Start Date" and "End Date" (this is your desired rental date)
• Click "View more" on your desired facility
• Available time slots will be shown (if you do not see your desired time slot you can select "Back to search" at the top of the page to look for another facility or date.
• Select the desired time slot, and fill in the required fields
• Select "Submit"
• Please allow 1-2 business days for us to respond to reservation requests
• If your rental is approved you will receive an email confirmation with additional details on how to make payment for that reservation

The DaySmart Recreation app is a simple and fast way to register for programs and reserve facilities on your Android or Apple device.

To use the DaySmart Recreation mobile app

• Download the app for your Android or Apple device, or search for DaySmart Recreation in your app store
• Open the DaySmart Recreation app, and type "Shelby Township" into the "Select a Company" field
• On the top right hand side, select the arrow going into the door
• Log in to your account, or create your account
