Please choose from tortellini with chicken, parmesan encrusted chicken, lake perch or shrimp scampi. Lunch includes the Martha's Vineyard salad, beverage, entree and dessert. After, we will travel to the campus of Oakland University to the Meadowbrook Theatre, where will watch the amazing play, Come from Away. The play focuses on a true story following the 9/11 attacks when 38 planes and over 6500 passengers were forced to land in Gander, Newfoundland, doubling the population of one small town on the edge of the world. Based on interviews with locals, Come from Away shares how hosting this international community of strangers spurred unexpected camaraderie in extraordinary circumstances. Come from Away will leave you with a smile! Cost includes bus transportation, lunch and show ticket.
