Looking for something for your child to do this summer that doesn’t involve Video Games or TV? Shelby Township Parks and Recreation is bringing back the popular Summer Recreation Day Camp! Your child’s day will be filled with so much fun, including games, team building activities, sports, arts & crafts projects, nature and so much more! Children are required to bring their own lunch. Please keep in mind that most of the days will be spent outside. Children will need to be able to apply their own sunscreen as needed.
Registration will begin Monday, April 14 for residents of Shelby Township and the City of Utica.
Nonresident registration begins Monday, April 21.
SITES: Shelby Township Activities Center
WHO: Kids entering 1st – 6th Grade for the 2025-2026 school year
WHEN: Monday through Friday, June 18– August 15 (NO CAMP WEEK OF JUNE 29)
TIME: 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
COST: Register per week (may vary during special event weeks)
$95 per week ($80 per week per additional child)
NONRESIDENTS ADD $15/week per child
More up to date information will be available in the 2025 Summer Day Camp Parent Handbook, released to all parents two weeks prior to the first week of camp.
