DESCRIPTION:<p><i>Murray, our rescued blind opossum, is officially turning 1 year old! We invite you to stop by as we casually celebrate the birthday boy. From 10:00am – 6:00pm, we will have the following:</i></p><p><i>&nbsp;</i></p><ul type="disc">    <li><i>Cupcakes for the first 60 kids</i></li>    <li><i>Opossum craft table</i></li>    <li><i>Birthday themed enrichment for Murray throughout the day</i></li>    <li><i>Kids can write birthday messages on Murray’s exhibit viewing windows</i></li>    <li><i>Murray “Adopt-an-Animal” adoption package special… all symbolic adoptions made that day to help care for Murray will include a free opossum stuffed animal (while supplies last)</i></li></ul><p><i>&nbsp;</i></p><p><i>Murray (short for Matt Murdock, the superhero “Daredevil”) came to us in May 2024. He was only three months old and was rescued by the Motor City Possum Rescue as a baby. When they realized Murray was blind and not able to be released back into the wild, they called us to see if we could provide him a forever home. Murray has grown a lot over this last year and has captured the hearts of visitors of all ages!</i></p><p><i>Free event!</i></p>
